What is WOWUNOW? 

WOWUNOW is a social space for connecting in meaningful and positive ways and an all-in-one hub of trusted and vetted resources designed to drive personal, professional, and global change where creators can monetize their impact & influence.

 

Who founded WOWUNOW? 

WOWUNOW is a platform created by Founder Lynn Rose, an award-winning media and entertainment entrepreneur, business consultant, and mission-driven founder of WOWUNOW, where Social Media meets Global Change.

 

How do I create an account?

To create an account, simply visit our website or download our app available on the App Store & Google Play Store and follow the instructions. You will need to provide some basic information, such as your first name, last name, email address, username and a password.

NOTE: We will delete profiles that aren’t registered with proper names in order to prevent BOTS, Malware or ill intended use as we are fiercely committed to protecting our community.

 

Is it free to use?

Yes, WOWUNOW is completely free to use. We may offer premium features in the future, but we will always have a free version available.

 

What age do I have to be to join WOWUNOW?

WOWUNOW requires users to be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you will need permission from a parent or guardian to join.

 

Can I use WOWUNOW on my phone?

Yes, WOWUNOW has a mobile app that you can download for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also use the website on your mobile device's web browser.

 

HOW DO I MANAGE MY ACCOUNT AS A USER?

You can manage your Account as a user by clicking on your profile picture on the left menu, and then by clicking on Edit Your Profile button.

 

How can I get technical support as a member?

As a user of WOWUNOW you get access to our support team. The fastest way to contact us is by emailing [email protected]. Within the app, you can also navigate to your Profile and then click on the gear icon on the top left and choose “Send Feedback” from the drop down menu. A member of our team will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

 

How do I reset my password if I forget? 

If you forget your password, you can reset it by using the "forgot password" feature on the login page. This will send a password reset link to the email address associated with your account.

 

Can I change my username?

Yes, you can change your username at any time by going to your profile settings and selecting the option to edit your profile.

 

Can I control the notifications that I receive from WOWUNOW?

Yes, you can control the app notifications that you receive by adjusting your notification settings. This allows you to choose which types of notifications you want to receive and how often you receive them.

 

How can I delete my account?

If you decide to delete your account, you can do so by going to settings in the upper right corner and selecting the option to delete your account from the menu. Please note that this is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

 

How does WOWUNOW protect my personal information?

We take the protection of our users' personal information very seriously and have a robust privacy policy in place which you can check here.

 

What kind of security measures does WOWUNOW have in place?

We take the security of our users' data very seriously and use a variety of measures to protect it. These include encryption, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits. You can learn more about protection of your data in our privacy policy here.

 

Can I link my WOWUNOW account with other apps or services?

At this moment,  this functionality is not available on WOWUNOW.

How do I set up my profile?

Setting up your member profile is a great first step after joining WOWUNOW. Your profile provides an easy, awesome way to build relationships by sharing your interests, timezone/location, profession, and more.
To edit your profile, navigate to the upper left corner and open the menu. Click on your name at the top or scroll down to “My Profile” to navigate to your profile. Click on the yellow button in the lower right to edit your profile.

How can I find interesting content on WOWUNOW?

You can find interesting content by following users who share content that you enjoy, searching for specific keywords, topics or hashtags, navigating the different channels in our Resources area and exploring our Explore & Discovery Page.

 

What kind of content can I share on WOWUNOW?

You can share photos, videos, text updates, and links to articles or other websites. We encourage users to share content that is respectful and appropriate for all audiences.

 

Can I upload videos longer than a certain length?

Currently, there is no limit on the length of videos that you can upload to WOWUNOW. However, at this point, you can only upload videos with a max file size of 50MB. If you have a longer video, you can use a platform like Youtube or Vimeo and then share the link in your post.

 

Can I control who sees my posts?

Posts shared on the community feed are shown to all other users unless you choose to only share them inside specific groups. In this case, the post will only be visible to members of the specific group.

 

Can I edit or delete my posts after I've published them?

Yes, you can edit or delete your posts after you've published them. This is a great way to fix any mistakes or make changes to your content.

 

Can I use WOWUNOW to promote my business or organization?

Yes, you can promote your business or organization on WOWUNOW. However, please note that we have rules around spamming and self-promotion, so make sure to follow our community guidelines.

 

Does WOWUNOW have a feature for live streaming?

Currently, we do not offer a feature for live streaming. However, we may introduce this feature in the future.

 

Does WOWUNOW have a feature for video chatting?

Currently, we do not offer a feature for video chatting. However, we may introduce this feature in the future.

 

Can I share a post by another user? 

Yes, you can share posts by other users by clicking on the “Share” button below the post. You can choose to share the post to Facebook, Twitter or via email. You can also copy the link to the post and share inside or outside of WOWNOW.

 

Can I save posts for later?

Yes, you can save posts for later by using the bookmark feature found below the post. This is a great way to keep track of content that you want to revisit later.

 

How can I report inappropriate content or behavior?

If you come across any content or behavior that violates our community guidelines, you can report it to our moderation team via [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will take action as needed.

 

How can I find my friends or specific users on WOWUNOW?

You can search for friends or other users by navigating to “Communities” on the left side menu and clicking “View All” under Community Members on the bottom left side. Once you are on the Community Members Overview page, search for your friends by typing their email address or name in the search bar in the upper right corner.

 

Can I connect with people from all over the world on WOWUNOW?

Yes, WOWUNOW is open to users from all over the world. You can connect with anyone who has a profile on our platform.

 

Can I tag another user in a post or comment?

Yes you can tag another user in a post or comment by typing @ and typing the user’s full name. The user you tagged will be notified.

 

Can I send private messages to other users?

Yes, you can send private messages to other users by going to the user’s profile and clicking on the Message button on the right side. 

 

How can I block or report other users who are harassing me?

If you are being harassed by another user, you can report them to our moderation team via [email protected]. We take all reports of harassment very seriously and will take appropriate action as needed.

 

Can I create groups or communities on WOWUNOW?

Currently, only our Partners are able to create communities. 

 

Can I create events on WOWUNOW?

Currently, only our Partners are able to create events.

 

How does the Reward Catalog work?

As a member of WOWUNOW you get rewarded for your activities on the Platform. You can then redeem your points to unlock special gifts and content. Navigate to Rewards Catalog in the menu to find out more.  

 

How can I provide feedback or suggestions for the platform?

If you have feedback or suggestions for WOWUNOW, you can reach out to our customer support team via [email protected]. Within the app, you can also navigate to your Profile and then click on the gear icon on the top left and choose “Send Feedback” from the drop down menu. We value user feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our platform.


 

What is the Resources area and how do I navigate it? 

The Resources Area consists of inspirations and educational content where you can go deeper in your areas of interest.

We make sure the resources we present and integrate for your benefit are vetted, trusted, of integrity, and impact-driven.

 

Can I create my own Resource channel? 

Currently, only our Partners are able to create channels. If you want to become a Partner and create your own channel you can start the application process here:  www.wowyourimpact.com. 

 

What are groups and how can I join them? 

Groups are communities of users interested in specific topics. Currently,  we have groups for these categories: Mind, Body, Spirit, Life, Business, and World. Some of our Partners also have groups to talk about different things with their communities. To join them, please go to "Community", then if you scroll down you will see on your left "Filter Community Groups" and a gear icon. click on the gear Icon and it will show you all the groups we currently have. You will be able to join to a group from there.

 

What is the Resource Partner Directory?

The Partner Directory is a resource directory of incredible brands and entrepreneurs creating content for WOWUNOW.
